Another busy day!

Medieval Fayre, a celebration of Faversham Oysters and our local produce

10.00 till 16:00 – there will be food stalls and tastings, demonstrations and talks throughout the town and the Market Place and Preston Street will be filled with producers and food specialists. There will be a Medieval Fayre in the Market Place and a wide variety of food and some drink (alcoholic and non- alcoholic) come along and meet the producers.

10.30am – Harvest Festival in St Mary of Charity, Faversham’s parish church – Church Road and Church Street, Faversham. Come one, come all – celebrate the earth’s bounty!

From 10.30am – the now famous Sausage Trail Find out about the history of the Sausage Trail here!

All day, Mr. Mystery Punch & Judy – free for children and their parents and grandparents.


11:30 Children’s Fancy Dress Competition in the Market Square. This year’s theme the Middle Ages – Knights & Ladies and the characters of Chaucer.  

Flora the Singleton Giant will attend the Festival


This year we are focussing on Faversham Oysters 


Medieval Jester Devilstick Peat a children’s entertainer – with attitude. Described as “The World’s Greatest Fool” will be appearing all over the festival on Sunday.

Abbey Physic Community Garden Ale & Sausage Trails, pottage and a medieval picnic

11.00am – 4.00pm – TasteFaversham presents a programme of talks & demonstrations in the Guildhall, the talks hall sponsored by Lees Court Estate


5.00 pm –  Sausage Trail results announced at 12 Market Place

5.30 pm – Ale Trail results announced at 12 Market Place
